Cutting Edge Aero Bike Design

For The World Tour & The Club Run

After fifty years in the game, and becoming one of the biggest players, there’s not much Trek doesn’t know about making bicycles. Their range covers every aspect of cycling: from the cutting-edge tech used by World Tour teams at the highest level of cycling competition, to practical bikes built to handle the rigours of everyday transport.

Our core stock at Richmond Cycles is made up of the Madone, Domane and Checkpoint bikes. These drop-bar models are best suited to handle the best Surrey Hills routes surrounding the shop. We also carry the FX and Dual Sport utility and commuter bikes, and can supply the whole range including the mountain bike models.

Road, Gravel, Adventure

Domane

A road bike for the real world. Light and agile, but with a design focused on more than closed road racing. With clearance for 38mm tyres, and IsoSpeed suspension, the Domane is comfortable no matter the surface or distance. Ride further and faster.

Madone

The perfect tool for the upper echelons of bike racing, the Trek Madone is both a lightweight climbing bike and an aero-focused sprint specialist. IsoFlow tech reduces road buzz and fatigue without reducing that race-winning power transfer.

ALR vs SL vs SLR

Different frame materials offer different benefits. The ALR models use Trek's modern aluminium tubing with Invisible Weld technology for a performance level that comes close to carbon fibre, but at a lower cost. The SL level frames use 500 Series OCLV Carbon tubes to reduce weight further, with additional comfort benefits. SLR level bikes are built from Trek's 800 Series OCLV Carbon. This is the lowest weight, highest stiffness tube set.

Checkpoint

Offering comfortable geometry, plenty of mounting points and even internal storage, the Checkpoint will keep you pedalling all day, and all night. Stable on trails, nimble on asphalt. The Checkpoint does it all.

Checkmate

When it comes to out-and-out speed on broken roads and loose surfaces, few bikes can hold a candle to the Trek Checkmate. These bikes are aero-optimised, with an aggressive race-focussed riding position.

CheckOUT

Going head to head with the Specialized Diverge STR, the Trek Checkout blurs the boundary between gravel bikes and cross-country mountain bikes. Designed for gruelling all-terrain events like the Tour Divide.

+ Power

The Trek Domane and Checkpoint bikes are also available with an electric motor: the '+' models. Using the super-quiet and lightweight TQ HPR60 mid-drive motor, these bikes deliver a little extra assistance for steeper climbs and the more stubborn headwinds.

Town & Commuter

From A To B

Trek makes some of the best practical commuter bikes out there – both electric and analogue. The FX range is perhaps the most popular, it's been around for decades and covers every price point. There are fully-equipped options available for a one-stop solution to all-weather riding year round.

The District, Verve and Charter ranges take influence from the town bikes of Europe. The comfortable upright riding position and stable handling make for a confidence-inspiring ride, even when loaded up with luggage.

Trek Mountain Bikes at Richmond Cycles

While Richmond Cycles may be known best by road and gravel riders, the Surrey Hills have some exceptional trail riding too. Come in and have a chat with our team, and you'll soon discover that their experience isn't limited to the lycra side of things!

We usually have a Marlin hardtail or two in the shop, but we can order in anything you like. If you're heading off to Fort William or Morzine, we can kit you out.
