RC Custom - Cleat Alignment & Insole Fitting – £120

A full assessment of the rider’s feet, shoes and pedal/cleat setup to maximise comfort and power. Our aim here is to diagnose and set a position where the rider feels little to no awareness of the shoe on either side of the foot, and has the right amount of arch support to stabilise the feet and knees during the pedal stroke. We will determine the optimal fore/aft positioning and rotation of the cleats to provide an unrestriced range of motion.

• We assess foot posture, and determining any requirements for arch support. We can supply and fit custom or semi-custom insoles.
• We assess the suitability of the rider’s shoes. If an alternative pair is required, we can advise on suitable models.
• If needed, we apply advanced foot correction. Using forefoot and/or heel wedges, we stabilise the feet in the shoe to help reduce any uneven pressure.
• We fit the cleats to the shoes and ensure they are in the correct position.
• Lastly, we dynamically check the support and positioning with the rider on their own bike.
• We can also provide advice on a more comprehensive bike fit, if not already completed.
